Providing Free Roofs for Veterans in Need
At Universal Roofing Solutions, we believe the people who served our country deserve support, respect, and a safe place to call home. That's why we created our Veterans Roof Program, an initiative focused on helping local veterans who are struggling with unsafe or damaged roofing.
Through donations, partnerships, and community support, we aim to provide deserving veterans with safe, reliable roofing at little to no cost.

A Local Story That Inspired Us
Walter's Story
One project especially meaningful to our team was helping a Burlington veteran named Walter. At 93 years old, Walter has lived in the same home with his wife for 47 years. As a Korean War veteran, his service and commitment to our country deserve lasting recognition and gratitude.
Our team stepped in to donate all labor and complete a full roof replacement at no cost. The opportunity to support Walter and his family is exactly what this program is about, giving back to those who have given so much.

Every contribution helps cover roofing materials, permit fees, and waste disposal costs for veterans who cannot afford necessary roof repairs. Universal Roofing Solutions will provide free labor whenever possible to help support this mission. Contact us to learn how you can help make a difference.

Program Details
Who Can Apply
Veterans experiencing any of the following are encouraged to apply or be nominated:
- ✓Severe roof damage
- ✓Financial hardship
- ✓Unsafe living conditions
- ✓Storm-related roof issues
- ✓Difficulty affording necessary repairs
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- —Be a current or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces
- —Own and live in the home being nominated
- —Be located within our service area
- —Demonstrate financial hardship or roofing need
